1. CapitaLand Commercial Trust Eco Race 2017
  CapitaLand Commercial Trust (CCT or the “Organiser”) is organising its annual Eco Race 2017 (the “Race”) for tenants of CCT properties and their families and/or friends, with the objectives of promoting greater awareness of environmental sustainability and healthy living among its community.
2. Eligibility and Application Process
2.1 The Race is open to tenants of CCT properties, and their family members and/or friends, and employees of BCA, NEA and CapitaLand only.

• Twenty Anson
• Bugis Village
2.2 All participants for the Competitive category must be at least 18 years old in 2017 (born in 1999). All participants for the Fun Run category must be at least 9 years old in 2017 (born in 2008), and must have an application submitted on his/her behalf. CapitaLand staff must register under the CL Staff category, running the Competitive route.
2.3 Teams are not allowed to change members/participants after their registration is confirmed.
2.4 All immediate members of the “Race Committee” and “Working Team” (as solely determined by the Organiser), are not eligible to participate in the Race.
2.5 Register through the CCT Eco Race 2017 website. There will be a non-refundable registration fee of $10 per participant which will be matched by CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF), the philanthropic arm of CapitaLand, and donated to Rainbow Centre Singapore, to contribute towards building an inclusive playground at their Margaret Drive campus.
2.6 Upon successful registration, each participant is deemed to have read and agreed to abide and be bound by: (a) all the rules and regulations relating to the eligibility and application process to participate in the Race under section 2 herein (the “Eligibility and Application Process”); (b) the safety and medical advisory in section 3 herein (the “Safety and Medical Advisory”); (c) the disclaimer in section 4 herein (the “Disclaimer”); (d) all the closing dates as to the Race itself (the “Registration and Closing Dates”); and (e) any other requirements as determined by the Organiser.
2.7 The applicant’s and each team’s compliance with all the Application Rules does not guarantee selection for participation in the Race. The Organiser reserves the sole discretion in determining the selection criteria, selecting the teams to participate and is under no obligation to provide any reasons or justification for its selection.
2.8 The Organiser reserves the right at all times to make any amendments, additions, deletions or otherwise make any changes to the Application Rules, the Race Rules or any part of the Race and its related events, with or without notice, including, but not limited to, changes to the event locations of the Race or the prizes to be won. The Organiser further reserves the right to suspend, discontinue or terminate the Race at any time, at its absolute discretion, without prior notice and without any liability whatsoever.
2.9 The Organiser does not guarantee the availability of individual runners to form a team.
3. Safety and Medical Advisory
3.1 The Organiser is not conducting the Race in the course of or as part of its business. Prior to the commencement of the Race, each participant in the Race shall assess his or her own physical suitability, and that of their child/ward, to participate in the Race. Each participant voluntarily assumes the risks inherent in such races.
3.2 Participants should take their own measures to avoid any possible dangers from or due to traffic, road/track conditions and the like and the Organiser shall not be liable for the safety of participants. Accordingly, the Organiser, its related companies and their employees and agents shall not be liable to participants for and participants shall not claim against the same in respect of any loss, expenses, injuries, death or damages arising out of or in connection with the Race. If a prospective participant, is not agreeable to any of the foregoing, he/she should refrain from taking part in the Race.
4. The Disclaimer
4.1 By submitting the registration to participate in the Race, all applicants shall be deemed to consent and/or agree to:
(a) CCT, CapitaLand Limited and its related Corporations, third-party sponsors and partners, their agents and authorised service providers (collectively referred to as the “Involved Parties”), collecting, using disclosing and/or processing the applicants’ personal data, in order to inform the applicants about the Race and its related activities as well as marketing and publicity relating to other activities or events which may be of interest to the applicants, via mail, email, SMS, telephone and other means of communications (including via all and any of their Singapore telephone numbers which the Organiser may have in its records);
(b) participate in any interviews or “question-and-answer” sessions at the sole discretion of the Organiser (for the avoidance of doubt, the Organiser is not obliged to interview each and every applicant and/or its team). The applicant(s) further understand that they may be required to provide additional personal details and information for the purpose of selection by the Organiser and consent to the collection, use, disclosure and/ or processing of the additional personal data provided by them;
(c) the Involved Parties using and publishing the photographs and/or videos taken at or during the Race and its related activities for marketing and publicity purposes;
(d) the Involved Parties using and publishing the names of, and any other particulars of, all or any prize winners for notifying the prize winners of the results of related quizzes; and
(e) co-operate with, and participate in the activities related to the Race organised by the Organiser without any fee or compensation.
4.2 Further details will be emailed to the selected participants of the Race from time-to-time.
5. BCA Mini Quizzes
  Open to participants of the Race who are CCT tenants only. To be announced.
6. Prizes
6.1 The prizes are listed below. The Organiser may at its sole discretion and at any time without prior notice replace or substitute any prize with another of similar value selected by the Organiser.

• Prizes for Competitive category
1st: $1,600 CapitaVouchers per team + a night’s stay at Ascott Orchard Singapore + Fitness First membership (6 months), with 2 personal training sessions
2nd: $1,400 CapitaVouchers per team + 2-night’s stay at Somerset Ekamai Bangkok + Fitness First membership (3 months), with 1 personal training session
3rd: $1,200 CapitaVouchers per team + Fitness First membership (1 month), with 1 personal training session
10 consolation prizes of $240 CapitaVouchers per team

• Prizes for Fun Run category
1st: $1,000 CapitaVouchers per team and a night’s stay at Ascott Orchard Singapore
2nd: $800 CapitaVouchers per team
3rd: $600 CapitaVouchers per team
10 consolation prizes of $200 CapitaVouchers per team

• Prizes for CapitaLand staff (Competitive route)
1st: $700 CapitaVouchers per team
2nd: $500 CapitaVouchers per team
3rd: $300 CapitaVouchers per team
3 consolation prizes of $100 CapitaVouchers per team

• Prizes for BCA staff top team
$500 CapitaVouchers
7. The Race T-shirt
7.1 All registered participants are entitled to one (01) Race tee each.
7.2 All registered participants are to collect their Race tees at Capital Tower. More information on the collection will be provided at a later date.
7.3 For collection, please bring along the confirmation email and Identity Card for verification purposes. The Organiser reserves the right to refuse collection by participants who do not present the required documents.
7.4 If participants are unable to collect their Race tee in person, they may authorise a representative to collect on their behalf. The following must be presented when the representative is collecting the Race tee.

• Photocopy of participant’s Identity Card or passport
• Photocopy of representative’s Identity Card or passport
8. Judging and Race Results
8.1 All decisions, determination of results and award of prizes shall be subject to the Race Rules and will be made by the Organiser. The Organiser’s decision on all matters relating to the Race shall be final and binding and the Organiser shall not be obliged to enter into any discussions or correspondence on any matter relating to the Race.
8.2 All prize winners will be notified by 12.45pm after the completion of the Race on Saturday, 30 September 2017.
8.3 The prizes must be claimed within two (02) months from the date of announcement of the results failing which the prizes shall be forfeited.
8.4 All unclaimed prizes shall be forfeited and donated to a charity chosen at the discretion of the Organiser and thereafter no claims whatsoever for payment or compensation shall be entertained.
9. Registration and Closing Dates
9.1 The closing date for early bird registration is Friday, 4 August 2017 at 11.59pm.
9.2 The closing date for the Race registration is Friday, 15 September 2017 at 11.59pm.
9.3 The closing date for BCA Mini Quizzes is Friday, 15 September 2017 at 11.59pm.
9.4 Changing of apparel sizes is subjected to availability.
9.5 The Organiser reserves the right to reject additional team(s) after the registration closes.
9.6 The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any team(s) that do not meet the terms and conditions.
9.7 The Organiser will not be responsible for any dispute arising from incorrect information submitted by participants.
